SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES

They are infectious diseases that are transmitted through sexual contact. They are called Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).

They are more frequent in young and sexually active people. Adolescents are at greater risk of exposure to STDs Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Infection is growing at a very high rate.

The symptoms depend on the disease, therefore there is a wide variety of symptoms.
